All individuals over the age of 75 may register for vaccination NOW.    There are three general options at this time.   

OPTION #1 – Register and Schedule Yourself Directly through the Vaccine Administration Management System (“VAMS”).
  • Many other healthcare systems and local health departments, including the Monroe Health Department, are offering vaccination clinics.Please note, we receive a very limited number of doses each week.While Monroe will continue to hold vaccination clinics weekly, it may be possible to get vaccinated earlier at other locations in our area by making an appointment through VAMS at another location.
  • If you have an email address and internet access, start the registration process at
    • Residents who want to setup an email address and need help can call our Library at 203-452-2852.
  • Please note:Registration is a 2-step process.After step one, you will need to keep checking for an email from the CDC for further instructions to complete your registration in VAMS.
  • Once both steps are complete, you can find and book an appointment at several locations in our area through VAMS.
  • Monroe residents who have fully completed the VAMS registration above may also contact the Senior Center at 203-452-2815, Extension 1, for information on upcoming clinics in Monroe that are not yet visible in VAMS.
OPTION #2 – Register and Schedule Directly through a Healthcare Provider

OPTION #3 – Schedule on the phone by calling the CT COVID Vaccine Appointment Assist Line at 1-877-918-2224


  • NO email or internet access is required, however it may take several attempt to get through at this time.This is a statewide number.
