What's Recyclable and What's Not

As of June 1, 2008, corrugated cardboard that is put at the curb with your recycling bin will no longer be picked up. Corrugated cardboard, which will be accepted free of charge, must be taken to the Spring Hill Road Transfer Station, Monday-Friday, 7AM-2:45 PM or  Saturday, 7AM-11:45AM.

Magazines, paper, and junk mail can now be in the same brown paper bag with newspaper and then placed in your blue bin on top of the other recyclables. NO PLASTIC BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Replacement blue bins are available at no charge.  When you come in for a replacement, please bring the damaged bin with you as the Town receives  a credit.  Additional blue bins are available for $6 from the Public Works office.

Problems with pickup?:  If you have any problems with your recycling not being picked up, please call Enviro at 203-332-0096 to inquire. If they don’t help you resolve the issue, please call the Department of Public Works at 203-452-2814.
