Monroe Back to School Supplies

The Monroe Department of Community & Social Services in conjunction with the Monroe Women's Club offer a program that supplies backpacks and school supplies to Monroe school children who need assistance.

There are boxes located in several places around town to bring new supplies.  They are collected regularly by members of the Monroe Women's Club.  They will be sorted and distributed to Monroe children through the Social Services department.

Items needed: 

Backpacks, especially large ones

Calculators, especially scientific calculators

5 subject, 3 subject and 1 subject notebooks

Markers, colored pencils, crayons

Scissors

Zippered binders

Post-it notes

Homework notebooks/planners

Lunch boxes

Pocket folders
