Absentee ballots for the November 3rd municipal election are available beginning Friday, October 3rd at the Town Clerk’s Office (room 201) at Town Hall.The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays. Additional hours are planned for Saturday, October 31st from 9:00 a.m. to Noon to issue absentee ballots.
Registered voters may qualify for an absentee ballot if they meet these criteria: active service in U.S. armed forces, illness or physical disability, religious tenets which forbid secular activity on the day of the election, duties as an election official at the polling place other than their own during all of the hours of voting, absence from town during all of the hours of voting on November 3rd.
